Name: Crazy Horse Shield

Information: Sioux Style Shield - Deerskin, trade cloth, brass cones, glass trade beads, natural duck feathers. One of the greatest of all Sioux chiefs was Crazy Horse. This shield is a representation of Crazy Horse's shield. The blue and white circles depict hail; the yellow slash down the center is lightning. The blue trade cloth represents the blue leggings worn by Crazy Horse which were made from the pony soldier's uniforms.
